Your withdrawal PIN adds an extra layer of security to your xe8 account — required to confirm every withdrawal request. Set it up once, in under 2 minutes.

Before You Start
If you haven't registered yet, see How to Register first, then log in to your account.
xe8 sends a one-time verification code to your registered mobile number or email — your choice — to confirm your identity when you set or change your PIN.
Step-by-Step
Works the same way on browser and the xe8 app. You'll only need to set this up once.
Log in at xe8.net or via the xe8 app using your registered mobile number and password.
From any screen, tap Account in the bottom navigation bar.
In the Account menu grid, tap Change PIN — it sits next to Change Password.
In the New PIN field, enter a 6-digit PIN that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
Re-enter the same 6-digit PIN in the Confirm New PIN field directly below. Make sure both entries match exactly.
Under OTP Verification, choose the Mobile OTP or Email OTP tab, whichever you have access to right now. Your registered contact is shown automatically — tap Send, then enter the code you receive.
Tap Submit to complete. Your PIN is now active and required to confirm every future withdrawal request from your xe8 wallet.
Changing Your PIN Later
xe8 uses the same Account → Change PIN screen every time — whether you're setting your PIN for the first time or updating it later. You never need to enter your old PIN, only a new 6-digit PIN and OTP verification.

Something Not Working?
Work through the table below before contacting support.
| Symptom | Most Likely Cause | What to Do |
|---|---|---|
New PIN and Confirm New PIN don't match | A digit was typed differently in the two fields | Clear both fields and re-enter your 6-digit PIN carefully — both entries must match exactly before you can submit. |
OTP not received | Weak mobile signal, telco delay, or email in spam folder | For Mobile OTP, check you have signal (not just WiFi) and wait 60 seconds before tapping Send again. For Email OTP, check your spam/junk folder. |
Submit button doesn't respond | New PIN, Confirm New PIN, or the OTP field is still empty | Check every required field is filled in — New PIN, Confirm New PIN, and Mobile/Email OTP — before tapping Submit. |
Can't find the Change PIN option | Looking in the wrong menu | Tap Account in the bottom navigation first — Change PIN is a tile inside the Account menu, not on the main dashboard. |
Registered contact number or email shown is outdated | Contact details haven't been updated | Update your registered phone number first, then return to set your PIN. |
